New APOLLOMI LED Screen Lights Up New York's Times Square

APOLLOMI has produced the new full color led display that will shine over Times Square. The display was placed at the top of the One Times Square Building, 285 feet (about 87 meters) above the crowded streets. The massive 15.6m x 16.0m (51.2 ft. x 52.5 ft.) that incorporates a fully digital high-definition video system will be turned on Tuesday, July 15, 2010, at 7:30 pm EST. It has a 22.3m (73ft/880inch) diagonal screen designed for fixed outdoor installation. It integrates 1280 x 1248 Led.en.cnledw.com/">Leds, and attains high definition video quality with APOLLOMI’s Technovirtual technology. The company says that its pixel sharing Technovirtual technology uses adjacent LEDs to create virtual pixels with a 12.5 mm pitch.
